The Nike SQ Machspeed Fairway wood is probably the best looking of the Machspeed range, which is not saying much. The slightly rounded, trapezoid shaped had is not exactly square, but that is where it comes from and it does look OK. However put that behind you and swing the club and you will find a fairway wood that feels and sounds great. The head feels very solid and the Proforce shaft suits the club very well. As you would expect with a square head, it was quite forgiving and pretty straight, even if the flight was a little higher than average because of this. Square fairways seem to have stayed the course better than the drivers so if this is your thing then the Nike SQ Machspeed Fairway is well worth a try.
